Scope of Policy
This policy applies to:
All staff members, trainers, consultants, volunteers, and interns.
Any partners, affiliates, or third-party service providers engaged in activities involving children under the age of 18.
Definitions
Child: Any person under the age of 18.
Abuse: Includes physical, emotional, sexual abuse, and neglect.
Safeguarding: The actions taken to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm.
Code of Conduct
All individuals working with or near children must:
Treat children with dignity and respect.
Use appropriate language and behavior at all times.
Avoid being alone with a child in a private setting.
Never engage in any form of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse.
Report any concerns, suspicions, or disclosures immediately.
Reporting Concerns
If any safeguarding concerns arise:
Reports should be made immediately to the designated Child Safeguarding Officer.
Reports can be made anonymously and will be treated with confidentiality and urgency.
We will involve child protection authorities or relevant legal bodies when necessary.

Online Safety
For virtual programs involving children:
Sessions will be monitored by more than one adult where possible.
Parents/guardians will be informed of and consent to children’s participation.
Use of cameras, screen sharing, and chat features will follow strict guidelines to protect children’s privacy.
Recruitment & Training
Staff working directly with children will undergo appropriate background checks.
All team members will receive training on child protection, signs of abuse, and appropriate response measures.
Parental Involvement
Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate in safeguarding efforts.
They will be informed of their child’s participation in any programs and provided with safety guidelines.
Review of Policy
This policy will be reviewed annually or whenever there are significant changes in law or operations.
