Get Started
These guidelines apply to all Topical Revision Questions published and hosted inside the LMS. They ensure question sets are accurate, well-organised, level-appropriate, and easy for learners to practise independently.
1) Scope and purpose
Topical Revision Questions are designed to help learners practise specific topics, strengthen understanding, and prepare for assessments through structured, topic-by-topic practice. All published question sets must be educational, organised, and aligned to the stated level and syllabus where applicable.
2) Where revision questions are hosted
All Topical Revision Questions are published and hosted within the LMS, not as website posts. Access, organisation, learner visibility, and engagement are managed through LMS settings and categories.
3) Accepted subjects and levels
We accept revision question sets for:
Primary and Junior levels
Secondary levels
Bridging and foundation learning (where relevant)
Skills-based revision sets (literacy, numeracy, reasoning)
Every submission must clearly state:
Level/Grade/Form
Subject
Topic and sub-topics
Curriculum/syllabus reference (optional but recommended)
4) Required organisation and structure
Each revision set must include:
A clear title: Level + Subject + Topic
Topic and sub-topic labels
Numbered questions in a consistent format
Clear separation between sections (if multiple sub-topics)
Instructions where necessary (time guide, allowed tools, recommended method)
Recommended additions:
Difficulty indication (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced)
Estimated completion time
Short learning focus statement (what the set helps practise)
5) Question quality standards
All questions must be:
Accurate and free from conceptual errors
Clear and unambiguous
Appropriate for the stated level
Progressive in difficulty where appropriate
Consistent in terminology and symbols throughout the set
Avoid:
Repeated questions without purpose
Confusing wording, unclear diagrams, or missing information
Overly complex language that doesn’t match the level
Trick questions that test guessing rather than understanding
6) Supported question formats
We accept:
Multiple choice (MCQ)
Short answer questions
Structured questions
Essay/extended response (where relevant)
Scenario-based questions
Mixed-format sets (as long as they remain topic-focused)
For Mathematics and Sciences:
Provide clear working space guidance where needed
Ensure units, symbols, and diagrams are correct and readable
7) Answer keys, marking schemes, and solutions
To maximise learner value, submissions should include:
Answer key for MCQs and short-answer questions
Marking scheme for structured questions
Model answers for essays where applicable
Recommended:
Brief solution steps for problem-solving topics (Maths, Physics, Chemistry)
Notes on common errors (optional)
If a set is published without solutions, it must be clearly labelled as:
“Practice Only (No Answers Provided)”
8) Formatting and file standards
Accepted formats for upload into the LMS:
PDF (preferred)
DOC/DOCX
LMS-based quiz format (if supported and agreed)
Formatting requirements:
Clear readable font size
Consistent numbering and spacing
Properly labelled diagrams and tables
Clean layout suitable for mobile and desktop viewing
File naming (recommended):Level_Subject_Topic_SetNumber
Example: Grade8_Maths_Algebra_Set1.pdf
9) Originality, copyright, and academic integrity
All revision questions must be original or properly licensed.
Do not submit copied content from textbooks, teacher guides, past papers, or paid platforms without permission.
If questions are adapted from public syllabus objectives, they must be rewritten and remain original in phrasing and structure.
Sources must be credited where necessary.
10) LMS categorisation and tagging rules
To keep resources easy to find, each set must be categorised by:
Level/Grade/Form
Subject
Topic/Sub-topic
Year/Version (where applicable)
We may also apply tags such as:
“Exam Prep”
“Topic Mastery”
“Timed Practice”
“With Answers” / “No Answers”
11) Access and visibility settings
Revision sets may be hosted as:
Public within the LMS
Members-only
Enrolled-only (linked to a programme/course)
Institution-restricted (partner-specific access)
Access settings must be agreed at submission and applied consistently.
12) Review and approval process
All revision sets are reviewed for:
Correct labelling (level, subject, topic)
Accuracy and clarity
Formatting and organisation
Presence and correctness of answer keys/marking schemes (if included)
Alignment with platform standards
Revisions may be requested before publishing.
13) Updates, corrections, and version control
Corrections and updates must be requested through the ticketing portal.
Major updates should be versioned (Set 1, Set 2, Revised 2026, etc.).
Outdated sets may be flagged for review to protect learners and ensure relevance.
14) Learner safety and appropriate content
Revision content must be:
Age-appropriate and respectful
Free from discriminatory, abusive, or explicit content
Safe and responsible in examples and scenarios
Respectful of learner privacy and wellbeing
15) Platform rights and oversight
Bertum reserves the right to:
Decline, unpublish, or restrict sets that violate standards
Edit minor formatting for consistency (without changing meaning)
Remove content with valid quality, academic integrity, or copyright concerns
Enforce platform policies to protect learners and maintain credibility
